Poolside Cocktail Party
Sponsored by our Neighbors to Neighbors (“N2N”) Club, on August 24 there was a delightful evening poolside cocktail party, complete with music, delicious hors d’oeuvres, nightclub-style seating, and a bar manned by a tuxedo-attired John Mauro. This was a wonderful community social gathering enjoyed by many of our residents. Many thanks to the N2N Committee for putting on this gala event.
RESIDENTS ON THE GO!!! WE ENJOYED THE SUMMER
Shadowland Theater—”Sheer Madness”
On August 4th, a large contingent (26) of Rivers Edge residents and guests traveled to Ellenville NY to enjoy a pre-theater luncheon at Gaby’s Mexican Restaurant, followed by a theater production of ”Sheer Madness” at the beautiful Shadowland Stages Theater. The show was a hilarious who-dun-it with audience participation. Another great outing for residents “livin’ on the Edge.”nts for the betterment of the community. Here are some highlights:

Boat Cruise on Lake Wallenpaupack
Pictured above are our Rivers Edge “Ladies” enjoying a 1 hour pontoon boat cruise on Lake Wallenpaupack. Yes, a few husbands “crashed” the tour as they were needed to make the minimum headcount for the chartered boat for a great tour of this magnificent lake. The boat tour was a special feature which preceded the monthly Ladies Luncheon for August. The ladies graciously permitted a few husbands to attend their luncheon also.
MONTHLY LADIES LUNCHEONS:
Our Rivers Edge ladies enjoyed lunch in July at the Inn at Lackawaxen in Lackawaxen, PA, and in August at The Dock on Lake Wallenpaupack in Hawley, PA. The August luncheon was preceded by a boat cruise on the Lake (see picture above).

Our growth must surely be evident to all. Our sales traffic continues to be strong, with Building # 24 on Braeburn now having only 1 unit available for sale. Four new town homes  have now closed since our last newsletter and additional units have also been sold. We’re finishing sold units as quickly as possible in the order that they were contracted. New building # 12 on Macintosh is now being framed and two units in this building have already been sold. We also broke ground for the foundation of building #13 on Macintosh is now being framedand two units in this building have already been sold. We also broke ground for
the foundation of building #13 on Macintosh.
Driveways and final paving of Braeburn Path to the end of current constructed buildings has been completed, and 1st coat paving of Macintosh near the new riverside building, including driveways, street and an off-street parking recess, have been completed.
We must insist that residents and future-residents please refrain from entering into our construction zones, which include both outside and inside of units not yet occupied. This is an insurance issue and a trespassing issue which could be punishable by a fine up to $500. It is also dangerous, so please do not enter
any area where construction is taking place or into units awaiting completion.
Don’t forget our “Friends and Family” program which offers 1 year’s free Association fees if you bring a qualified friend or family member to the sales office for the first time, resulting in a sale. See Geoff Pitcher for  details.
